Queen's Bounty Honey Red Wine Cranberry Sauce
1/2 a Bottle Local, Oregon Pinot Noir
1 Cup Queen’s Bounty Blackberry Honey
1 Cup Brown Sugar
Zest of One Orange
2 Cinnamon Sticks
4 Quarter-Inch Think Slices Fresh Ginger
3 Star Anise
1 Teaspoon Whole Cloves
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Grated Nutmeg
1 Bag Fresh Oregon Cranberries
Add all ingredients except cranberries to pot and bring to a simmer. Stir until honey is dissolved. Simmer on low 10 minutes and then skim out whole spices.
Add cranberries and simmer until the berries pop and liquid is reduced slightly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Chill and serve.
